Reviving the Site

After a (lengthy) hiatus I have decided to revive this site, it’s fun writing, and a good creative outlet; even if I am only yelling into the void!

This page exists to acknowledge various technologies, software, and other works, which went in to creating this website.

The Website - Hugo

This site is built using hugo, a fast static site generator, which I have grown to love for the simplicity and high customisability. The site, sitemap, and RSS feed are all generated by hugo; if you haven’t tried out Hugo, I would recommend trying it for your next project which requires some form of content-management system, without the overhead that usually entails (esp. if you were considering a WordPress blog).

Colour Scheme - Compline

This website utilises colours from the compline theme, created by Joshua Blais. The light theme view of the site utilises the sister theme, Lauds.

The code blocks are always in a dark theme - I couldn’t find a light theme I could stand (nor did I try investigating how to get hugo to switch this out at run time).

Font - Iosevka

The font used on this website if Iosevka, which is distributed under the OFL-1.1 (SIL Open Font License) licence.
